Add Noulek Embed to an external website

Objective

Install the Noulek embed on an external website using the snippet generated in WordPress.

Before you start

  • Embed Export is configured and Active on the WordPress site that owns the Knowledge Base.
  • External domain matches the host of the site where you will paste the snippet.
  • You can edit HTML or custom code on the external site (CMS HTML block, template footer, or similar).

Procedure

1. Open Install this embed

In WordPress, go to Noulek AI → Embed Export.

Scroll to Install this embed. This section appears when configuration includes a valid Public embed ID and External domain.

2. Copy the snippet

Click Copy snippet (or select the text in the snippet box).

The snippet contains:

  • Script tags that load Noulek embed assets from your WordPress site.
  • data-noulek-embed-id with your Public embed ID (emb_pub_…).
  • data-noulek-config-url pointing to the public configuration endpoint.

The snippet does not include license keys, site tokens, or API secrets.

3. Paste on the authorized external site

On the authorized domain, add the snippet to a page visitors can access:

  • Typically in the page HTML where you want the assistant card to appear, or in a site-wide template before the closing </body> tag.
  • The widget renders inline where the final script tag is placed.

Use your CMS or site builder’s custom HTML capability. Noulek does not require a specific CMS — only that the page is served from the authorized host.

4. Publish and load the page

Publish or update the external page. Open it in a browser on the authorized domain (not only in WordPress preview on a different host).

Expected result

The external page loads the Noulek embed shell on the authorized domain. Continue with Verify your Embed to confirm the assistant UI and chat behavior.

If the widget shows an authorization error, see Fix an unauthorized domain error.
