Check Noulek license status
Objective
Read Noulek license and plan status on the WordPress License tab, refresh authorization from Noulek Cloud, and know when to disconnect or change the connected license.
Before you start
Open Noulek AI → Settings and select the License tab.
If Noulek is not active yet, follow How to activate Noulek or Connect an existing license first.
When Noulek is active
The intro banner states Noulek is active on this WordPress site and may show a plan badge such as Free plan active, Pro plan active, or Enterprise plan active.
The Connected to Noulek Cloud card lists:
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Status | Active when the site is authorized on Noulek Cloud. |
| Plan | Effective plan on this site (for example Free, Pro, or Enterprise). |
| License | Masked license key identifier (not the full secret). |
| Site | This WordPress site URL registered with Noulek. |

Refresh status
Click Refresh status after you complete activation in the Customer Portal, upgrade a plan, or change site authorization. Noulek re-fetches runtime state from Noulek Cloud without re-entering the license key.
Disconnect site
Click Disconnect site to remove the Free-plan WordPress.org style connection from this site. Use this when you intentionally unlink the site from Noulek Cloud.
Change license
The Change license section lets you connect a different license key. Enter the new key and click Save new license. Use this only when you are switching licenses, not for routine status checks.
Payment pending state
If your paid plan has an outstanding invoice, a Payment pending notice may appear with details about your contracted plan and temporary effective plan (for example limited to Free until payment resolves).
When an action URL is provided, Open Plan & Billing (or similar) opens billing management in the Noulek Customer Portal or payment provider — not inside WordPress.
Noulek does not document Paddle checkout steps here; follow the link shown on your License screen.
When Noulek is not active
The screen shows Activate Noulek on this WordPress site with Start with Free and Connect existing license options. Status reads Not active until you complete one of those paths.
Click Refresh status after portal onboarding if the screen still shows inactive.
Expected result
You can read Status, Plan, and site connection on the License tab, refresh after external account changes, and distinguish WordPress license display from Customer Portal billing actions.
For document quotas, open Check plan usage on Settings → Usage.
